So once again I am having problems with my Xbox Live account. Crenshaw Magee is currently having problems with it's Gold status because of some confusion or mistake with the codes I redeemed. They're telling me that in order to continue using my Gold status that I need to submit credit card information to charge the monthly fee so I can use it. Well I have been using codes for my Gold status and so I don't know why I would need to do this. For those who don't know...there are 2 different Xbox Live accounts. Silver and Gold. Gold lets you play online, and download demos before those with Silver status. Silver is your basic membership that lets you download demos and whatever you want, but you can't download for 2 weeks after they come out and you can't play online. Which was never a problem until Soul Bandit78 picked up a 360 and we occasionally cause mass chaos in GTA 4.
So...my solution to all of this is to just abandon Crenshaw Magee and use a new Xbox Live account. Yes...I know...15,000 gamerpoints down the drain and all that, but I really don't mind that much. I've luckily began weening myself off of caring about Gamerpoints. They are a nice treat when you do something challenging or beat a game, but I had an unhealthy obsession of not being able to play a game without some sort of guide open next to me to get as many points out of a game as possible instead of just playing and enjoying the game.
